As you all think about preparing your presentation for the other teachers in the district, I have a few suggestions.
Introduce yourself
Remember, your audience may not know who you are or why you are qualified to present on the topic. Let them know things like:
Your name
School at which you teach
Subject area or grade level
Any other presentations you might have given, awards, or other relevant info
Always have a clear learning objective for the presentation
You should have some way of explicitly communicating your objective to the audience not only at the beginning but during and then at the end. We want to make sure that everyone understands what the expectations are for learning. Even if you aren't using a PowerPoint, it might be wise to have some visual way to communicate this in addition to orally.

Keep things brief and to the point without much extraneous information. Try to keep it fun and humorous, we all like that! Repeat your message or key points throughout the presentation so that the audience comes away knowing what it was all about.
